The Victoria Half Triathlon, held on Vancouver Island, is a long-standing event attracting athletes of all levels for over 25 years. The Half Iron course includes a 1.9 km swim at Elk Lake, a 90 km scenic ride through the Saanich Peninsula, and a 21 km run on flat trails around Elk and Beaver Lakes. Other formats include Olympic, Sprint, Duathlon, Aquabike, and Relay categories. Known for its rich tradition and iconic hoodie, the event combines picturesque west coast landscapes with a welcoming atmosphere for first-timers and seasoned competitors alike.
